A young entrepreneur, learning by building
Ilyas World is a small Canadian shop with a big reason behind it.
Hi — I'm Ilyas. This shop started as an idea I couldn't stop thinking about: what if I could find good things people actually want, price them fairly, and build a real business while I'm still in school?
So that's what I'm doing. I search out products, learn how to photograph and describe them, pack the orders, and figure out the parts I don't know yet as I go. My parents help me keep everything safe and above board — the business is parent-managed — but the choosing, the writing and the packing are mine.
Every order does two things. It puts money into my education fund, so I can pay my own way through school. And it moves me closer to the dream behind all of this: opening an organization that helps less fortunate children — kids who deserve the same chance to learn, play and imagine something bigger.
Because I'm one person with a changing shelf, quantities are usually small and the selection keeps rotating. That's part of the fun — and it's why the stock counts you see are always real, straight from our system. If something goes wrong with your order, you can tell me and I'll fix it. That matters more to me than any single sale.
